Marketing Executive
Location: Islamabad
Salary: 50,000 – 100,000 PKR/ month
Reports to: Marketing Lead
The candidate’s main responsibility will be to plan, direct and coordinate marketing research activities for our education products and initiatives. The candidate should be an independent worker with a pro-active approach who is able to engage colleagues and the public with initiatives. An excellent command of English is required. The candidate should further understand the intricacies of various marketing platforms and enjoy social media. Experience in the education sector is a plus.
Tasks include (but are not limited to):
- Market analysis and research
- Study market conditions to examine potential sales of Knowledge Platform’s products
- Develop a database of low-cost schools in Pakistan
- Manage social media and online communities
- Develop launch strategies for our various products. Includes pitching to journalists, media, bloggers
- Design and implement marketing campaigns
- Maintain a database of and outreach to media personnel and influencers
- Develop marketing collateral including case studies and brochures
- Writing press releases, and external and internal communication
- Reporting on results of marketing and other initiatives
Required Skills:
- Ability to work independently in an agile environment
- Pro-active, self-starting work approach
- Marketing and PR experience
- Have knowledge of a wide range of marketing techniques and concepts
- Detail-oriented, organized and able to multi-task
- Excellent English writing and communication skills
- Extensive experience in social media (and enjoys using it)
- Takes initiative and is able to work well under pressure
- Brand management experience
- Has some experience working with events and media
