A day in the life of...
- Execute purchase of "technical" materials under PKR 10,000 through petty cash accounts and manage emergent/urgent requirement through imprest.
- Daily monitor status of open local purchase orders report and pursue vendors and contractors for delayed deliveries through telecom and emails.
- Monitoring of all local material rejections in coordination with store
- Liaison with buyers in head office to ensure remedy for all emergency purchases of value higher than PKR 10,000.
- Furnish resolution of parked invoices on daily basis to designated staff in procurement. Expedite posting of GRN/SES against deliveries made by vendors/contractors in 2 working days. Follow-up for GRN/SES posting in system with vendor/store/end user. Create & Transmit POs for materials required " as per sample" as well as against RFQ forwarded by Strategic Buyers
- Monitor timely confirmation/acknowledgement of purchase orders, timely delivery of ordered goods and timely receipt and processing of vendor invoices
- Site buyer will act as representative of procurement in all affairs of factory management

- Over a sustained period (1-2 years) has demonstrated success in ensuring supply through correct and timely procurement transactions such as SAP contracts and purchase orders but not call offs.
