Looking for marketing experience? Apply for our Regional Events Marketing Internship and be part of an incredible team working on #RaceforLife. Build your professional network, enhance your employability and develop your skills at one of the UK’s leading charities.

We want towns and cities across the UK to buzz with excitement about Race for Life – and you will be at the heart of this. We’re looking for motivated individuals, who will be confident talking to people about Race for Life and are passionate about beating cancer. This is a great development opportunity for people who are comfortable taking a lead, working as a team and inspiring others to be part of the UK’s largest fundraising event series.
You will also have the opportunity to bring new ideas and relationships to life by researching and developing exciting new areas of the region to encourage more people across the UK to take part in Race for Life events to help beat cancer.
The internship will run for 12 weeks in which you will be homebased, working to support your regional team. You will work 21 hours per week including some weekends. We can be as flexible as possible if you have other commitments.
You’ll have a dedicated manager who will support you through your projects and help you accelerate your personal development. We’ll also provide you with networking opportunities, skills training and access to our internal jobs board.
We actively encourage applications from people of all backgrounds and cultures as we are keen to represent the communities we support and believe that a diverse workforce will help us to beat cancer. The application deadline is 23:55 on Sunday 13 January.
How do I apply?
Please apply online by uploading your details and answering a couple of application questions. We’d also like a CV to show your education history and any work experience.

Please see the Internship Information Pack (https://bit.ly/2ROeAdc) for more information including the full role profile(s). The interests and skills you highlight in your application and at interview will help us match you to one of these roles.

Please complete an application form for only one of the streams . You will be able to specify a second stream preference on the application form. If you submit a strong application but are not offered an internship role in the stream you applied to, we will take your second choice into consideration when attempting to match you to a role that suits your interests and skillset.

Please note, the system does not allow you to save your progress so you’ll need to complete the online application in one go. You are advised to make a note of the application questions and work on them in a separate programme e.g. Microsoft Word. When you’re ready you can copy and paste your answers into the application form.

At CRUK we value diversity and we're committed to creating an inclusive culture where everyone is able to be themselves and to reach their full potential. We actively encourage applications from people of all backgrounds and cultures and believe that a diverse workforce will help us to beat cancer sooner.

Please note, from 2019, our head office will be relocating from Islington to a new office space in Stratford, close to the Olympic Park.
