Assistant Manager Business Intelligence
position available in Islamabad for a Leading Telecom company. For the job role urgently required a candidate having Master degree with major in Business, Economics, or ICT and with 8 to 10 years professional experience along with 5 years’ work experience in sales, financial or business analysis or related discipline.
Assistant Manager Business Intelligence is responsible for business intelligence and planning of GCS and ESS. Working with internal and external stakeholders & partners by directly supporting the execution of key reporting, analysis, forecasting, projects & initiatives across all functional areas of the department
Responsibilities:
- Deliver standard pipeline, renewals and other performance reporting by department, region and territory each period
- Provide analytical and ad-hoc support to management for advanced/periodic needs
- Lead the collection and validation of performance data (by reconciling with finance), including maintenance and storage of reporting output
- Prepare and present commentary and analysis in written form to share insights from analysis and to support and influence decision making. Serve as an advisor to leadership on performance/results
- Monitors data and provides analysis to illustrate sales trends, identify weaknesses in current sales execution and support future sales strategy
- Industry segment and as well as performance analysis to provide business insights to the management
- Implementation of advance analytical methods and tools to optimize analytical performance system
- Planning and forecasting financial budgets and preparing targets for channels, products, segments and regional teams by aligning with business plan.
- Provide analytical support and have a deep understanding of sales channels and business models
- Deliver on milestone requirements to ensure timely and quality execution of overall sales plan, including plan reviews and engaging relevant Corporate Sales functions
- Designing campaigns with segment and product managers
- Monitoring performance of the campaigns and evaluating based on the defined criteria
- Supporting internal stakeholders in customization of ESS campaigns with minimum time & effort to data

- The candidate should have the ability or aptitude to perform complicated analysis like forecasting and regression
- Ability to lead a large project without significant supervision
- Candidate needs to possess strong relational database knowledge
- Must have strong computer knowledge skills.
- Must be adept in use of MS Office, particularly advanced skills in Excel, SQL and advanced use of business intelligence applications like Cognos, QlikView, Business Objects and SAS is preferred
