Responsibilities
(1) As the owner of demand plan for Lifestyle, Home, Grocery and BGM business units, will be responsible for creating accurate demand projections at various levels of granularity (Daily, monthly, annual).
(2) Develop understanding of the market landscape, key demand drivers and seasonality for all categories under the aforementioned BUs
(3) Work closely with category management teams to understand the changes in business levers and model them into the demand plan after quantitatively and qualitatively validating the changes basis ongoing trends and history
(4) Partner with category management teams in their growth journey. Model various growth scenarios using pricing and marketing inputs and recommend the most optimal solution keeping the bottomline in mind.
(5) As a representative of the corp business line in Flipkart, this person would advise business heads on the impact of their actions on the overall business objectives of Flipkart
(6) Develop a strong working relationship with the business teams thereby becoming their trusted advisor on taking business decisions.
(7) Understand the reasons for deviation from the demand plan and communicate them to the business heads on a regular basis, thereby helping them take corrective actions
(8) Destination level demand planning: Own planning at a geography level. Should develop models which pick-up geography level demand signals and make changes to the top-down demand plan
