JOB PURPOSE
The Marketing Assistant will work closely with the Marketing Manager to assist with the implementation of the Cantel/Medivators marketing strategies into Australia. You will play an important part in ensuring that our company brand is presented consistently, in being creative and supportive for continued growth into our market and work closely with the whole team to support cross functional projects, events and campaigns.

JOB PURPOSE
The Marketing Assistant will work closely with the Marketing Manager to assist with the implementation of the Cantel/Medivators marketing strategies into Australia. You will play an important part in ensuring that our company brand is presented consistently, in being creative and supportive for continued growth into our market and work closely with the whole team to support cross functional projects, events and campaigns.
Main Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Assisting with events management, including travel/attendance at some events:
o Coordination and planning for major national sponsored events, trade shows
o Coordination and review of territory sponsored events
o Coordination of territory-based customer education events • Coordinate sponsorships and advertising portfolio • Coordination and management of marketing collateral, including print, advertising and digital marketing material • Creating relevant content for social media • Responding to marketing queries via phone, email or social media • Maintaining awareness and communication of industry trends and compelling marketing campaigns • Assisting in the preparation and implementation of campaigns, product launches and promotions
• Assist the Marketing team with development and implementation of training programs • Support sales and marketing analytical needs as requested • Helping conduct and collate findings from market research • Support internal project groups across the commercial team • Assisting in the distribution of newsletters and information • Develop positive relationships with existing and new KOL’s in conjunction with territory sales and service managers

Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY REQUIRED FOR POSITION • Bachelor's degree in Business Marketing or Sciences, or Diploma qualification with a minimum of 2+ years of experience as a marketing associate or assistant or similar role
- Must have excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
- Experience with social media marketing will be an advantage
- Experience in the work-force. Although not essential, a background in healthcare, medical devices or related field will be highly regarded.
